Why it works differently
Most garlic salts use powdered garlic that burns the second it hits a hot pan. We bake fresh garlic and garlic chives directly into coarse sea salt. The result is a crystal that seasons evenly, develops aroma in hot fat, and finishes clean. That's why people keep it right next to the stove.
How to use it
Toss any vegetables in olive oil and Vampire Killer and roast at 425°F. Broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, brussels, potatoes, carrots — it does not matter. They all come out better. Stir into melted butter for a 60-second garlic baste. Finish eggs right before they come off the heat.
Start on a medium grind setting. Go finer for finishing, coarser for crusts. Real garlic may clump a little — shake the grinder and keep going.The refill
